Grading this albumen print on a scale of 1 to 10 - a 10 being a print that has rich, deep dark tones and highlights that retain all of their original detail - this print rates a 9. The darks are a rich brown/purple tone and retain precise detail. There is minor fading at the extreme edges and corners. This print, on single-weight paper, is in generally excellent condition. There is very minor soiling in the sky area. There are some creases throughout the print, most noticeably in the black margins. The upper right margin corner tip is lacking. There are 8 tack holes in the upper margin. On the reverse, 'COLLECTION CLIN' and No. 34' are written in an unidentified, modern hand in pencil.
